Ms. Grace Chan

Grace Chan Man Yee is a seasoned social welfare leader with over three decades of experience, currently serving as the Chief Executive-designate of The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), a role she will commence on April 1, 2025. Her appointment follows an open recruitment process and is a testament to her profound expertise and visionary leadership within the sector.

Ms. Chan has dedicated 18 years to the HKCSS. In this capacity, she has been a pioneering force in driving social innovation, particularly through her leadership of the Innovation and Technology for Ageing team. She has been instrumental in developing groundbreaking initiatives, including the Gerontechnology Platform and the annual Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit (GIES).

Her influence extends to significant roles in public service and global ageing policy. She is a current member of the Elderly Commission and the International Vice President of the International Federation on Ageing (IFA). Furthermore, she contributes her expertise to the World Health Organization as a member of the Strategic Advisory Group for its Global Network of Age-Friendly Cities and Communities. Ms Chan’s exceptional contributions have been widely recognised, including honours such as the Ageing Asia Global Ageing Influencer Award (2019) and the Most Successful Women Award (2022).
